There has been a shift in title sponsors for the Indian Premier League after DLF’s 2012 departure. The Indian Premier League (IPL) was sponsored by VIVO until 2021. However, for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, the Tata Group took over as the league’s title sponsor, replacing the Chinese cellphone manufacturer Vivo. Tata and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had a Title Sponsorship arrangement valued at INR 670 crore for two years.

The most popular online fantasy game platform is Dream11, a fantasy sports website founded in India. In March 2019, it signed a four-year deal to become the official sponsor of the Indian Premier League.
